Lasachra is a performance collective fusing circus arts, percussion, dance and physical theatre.

Together they will bring you a vibrant selection of entertainment to keep your jaw open and your hips swinging for the weekend.

Throughout the days, keep your eyes peeled for the various wandering characters, such as the Gentlemen Jugglers, the Curly Twirlies, Farrago, the Hug Ambassadors, the Glow Worms, Tramping About, Ribboned for your Pleasure, Tike and Mina, Guerrilla Dance, the Game Train and the Fireflies amongst others.

Tribal Matrimony; gathering inspiration from the tribes of the world, this is a marriage made in heaven but destined for hell. A choreographed parade featuring over 40 characters clad in anything from tribal costume and body paint to tuxedos and top hats. Their unique blend of African drumming and dancing, along with circus skills and theatrics is destined to energise the entire festival as it weaves itself through the site, inviting festival goers to take part in an exciting bespoke parade.

Following the parade, Wassa Wassa will take the stage to mesmerise the crowd with their traditional West African percussion, song and dance show. Complete and uncut, be prepared to be blown away by the thundering rhythms, soulful songs and frenzied dances.

And don’t go to bed early or you’ll miss their late night fire show, The lost flame. Driven by pounding rhythms and featuring an enflamed selection of juggling, dance, acrobatics, poi swinging, staff spinning and even a fire hula hoop, they will keep you grooving into the small hours.
