Collaboration between Visual Artist Francesca O Rafferty and Costume Designer Emma Downey resulted in a beautiful playful installation, A Ragtail Tree, in which bits of old rag come to life as cartoonish, but human-like birds.
Their amazing installation is as much about the beauty of the rag as well as a light-hearted comment on the serious issue of waste and the rapid cycle of consumerism.
