Shaktimaya Bellydance is an eclectic innovative bellydance duo based in Kinsale, Co. Cork founded by two performing artitsts Melanie Labrosse and Petra Skodova. Shaktimaya Bellydance focuses on pushing boundaries of what has been done before by fusing bellydance with circus skills. Melanie and Petra currently teach and perform Bellydance and Circus skills in Ireland and UK.
Shaktimaya will be performing a 20min bellydance show. Fusing bellydance, an ancient eastern Art form with elements of modern western circus skills.
This show is a mesmerizing and colorful celebration of Life through a ray of exotic dances and rhytms. This show will provide a unique spectacle which mixes ethnic and modern bellydance with an array of props, exotic rhythms and authentic costumes that will take your breath away.
