Music : Holistic Haven 2011 : Restorative Yoga

As a teacher, Eilis O'Regan, ventures to enable students to work energetically with their breath; to become aware of their physical and emotional possibilities and to explore respectfully. And most importantly to enjoy a yogic practice and the many benefits from it.

Eilis O'Regan will deliver a yoga workshop that starts with pranayama breathing techniques to help balance the body and soul (estimated 25 mins) and follow on with guided meditation (5 mins). I will gently lead the workshop into stretching salutations to warm the body and lengthen the muscles. I would like to mirror some of the breathing techniques in the physical asana movement and begin the process to shifting emotions with hip-opening and gentle heart-opening sequences (45 mins asana).

After resting in savasana, the workshop will finish with chanting (15 mins).
