Music : Theatre & Performance 2011 : Gael Winds
Gael Winds, a quartet of Ireland’s finest woodwind instrumentalists, will be joining us for an intimate session in Ballinlough Castle. With their playful approach to music Gael Winds brings a 21st century slant to classical music with a uniquely vibrant and contemporary flair.
This Dublin based collective of professional, freelance musicians who perform individually throughout Ireland and the UK with leading orchestras and ensembles.
They are compiling an exciting and varied programme for their first performance at the Body & Soul Festival with the hope all of us will get inspired to listen, relax and unwind in the beautiful surroundings of Ballinlough Castle.
Gael Winds will be performing live classical music featuring composers such as Mozart, Francaix and Bozza with some light fun arrangements of their own thrown in.

Oboe: Rebecca Halliday
Clarinet: Conor Shiel
Bassoon: Cliona Warren
