Music : Art 2011 : Dreamboat & Friendship Nest

Natalie Keegan's artistic career began with a degree in theatre design but most recently, she has returned to creating interactive installations – “in” nature and “from” nature. Part of the inspiration comes from watching the piece come to life, as people interact with her art in ways she would have never expected.

Following her themes of building from nature, Dreamboat will be a meeting place and a time to communicate our dreams into being. People weave their dreams, with intention, into the loom and over the weekend create a sail of natural fibres ready to set sail into our dreamtime.

Her second installation, The Friendship Nest awaits you in the woodlands, hidden beneath a canopy of Oak trees. Take a ribbon and intertwine it into the phoenix's egg that sits at the centre of the nest. Singing, storytelling, making friends and nesting awaits you.
