Music : Art 2011 : Catching Zzzzz's

Whilst exhibiting and working in New Zealand, Jane Groves has been developing her personal work using mixed media such as wire, paper, willow and just about anything else she can find in a skip.

Her work fluctuates from small intricate indoor pieces to ephemeral outdoor installations, including large aerial pieces, lanterns (look out for the fish at the garden pond), childrens dens and contemplative spaces.

Andy Thompson is an 'alternative' builder who through many years of living with artists is finally opening up to his creative genius! But mostly, he just make Janes ideas stay put!

Long time members of the Body and Soul crew, life partners and parents, Andy & Jane are giving us Catching Zzzzz's - a contemplative, fun space that will await tired explorers amidst a large forest clearing.

The hum of festival music will be silenced by the flutter of insects in the breeze. An aerial mobile of whimisical woodland insects consisting of scrap copper, metal and other rubbish floats playfully over a double bed, poised to send many an unwilling body into the depths of a magical dreamworld.

Enter the woods, and just look for the meandering path........
